Students are all undeclared majors during their Freshman and Sophomore years to explore diverse communication fields. At the end of the Sophomore year, students will be officially streamed into the Department of Journalism, Department of Advertising, or Department of Radio-TV. Please be advised that all majors require an internal admission review prior to official declaration. Students must meet specific departmental requirements to be admitted into their chosen program.
Curriculum Planning
The three departments mentioned above each offer two major professional programs, students can plan their own customized programs based on their personal aspirations and career goals.
Language Requirements for Students of Non-local Nationality
Most courses at our college are taught in Mandarin, with some courses supplemented by English reading materials. To ensure the quality of learning, we recommend that applicants have excellent Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
International applicants must pass the TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) at the Learner (Level 4) or the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) at Level 6, or provide equivalent proof of proficiency from other Chinese language examinations.

學制與分流說明
本院採「大一大二不分系」制度。所有學生入學前兩年皆為未定專業 ，並於大二結束時，正式分流進入新聞學系 、廣告學系或廣播電視學系 。
重要提醒所有學生在正式確定專業前，均須先獲得該系所之錄取資格，方能完成分流程序。
上述三個系所分別設有兩大專業方向，學生可根據個人職涯規劃自行組織專屬課程。
本院多數課程以中文授課，部分課程英文閱讀材料為輔。為確保學習品質，我們建議申請者具備優異的中文聽說讀寫能力。
國際學生申請者須通過「華語文能力測驗」高階級檢定或「新漢語水平考試」六級檢定，或具相當等級之其他華語文測驗證明。
